power output over the whole rpm-range compared to last year´s

MXC Desert Racing Due
to the demand of a 525 EXC version for european rally purposes,
an European specification of the 525 MXC is to be introduced
for the very first time in model year 2003. In technical
terms the 525 MXC is identical to the 525 EXC. It has a
larger 13 litre fuel tank, van, and a corresponding seat
suited to long distance riding.

graphics. Re-designed front fender for better protection.

New 5 speed gear box with wider and stronger 2nd gear. New
shift roller for easier power shifting. Conified Renthal
handlebar. 14 mm change of the fork plate offset for quicker

SX Racing 4-Stroke Crankshaft and balancer are
slimmed-down (800g) for increased power delivery, throttle
response and better handling. Weight reduced clutch basket
(100gram). Engine weight reduced by 500 Gram due to new
cast process. 500 g lighter ignition system for better throttle
response Total Engine weight reduction: 1,9 kgs New Carburettor
with integrated and sealed accelerator pump mechanism and
Hot-Start button. Cylinder head with new 41mm ports, new
designed single camshaft and new valve springs for better
reving.

Mini Adventure
Separate lubrication(external oil tank and oil pump) The
14 mm carburetor is replaced by a 12 mm carburetor. New
more wear resistant steering head bearing. 50 Junior / Senior
Adventure New more wear resistant steering head bearing.
50 SX Pro Junior LC / 50 SX Pro Senior LC New more wear
resistant steering head bearing. For better handling the
Pro Senior features 12-inch rims. Redesigned cylinder head.
Stronger water pump shaft.

Increased displacement from 63,6 to 64,9 cc. Digital ignition
system and new aluminium ignition cover. New easier to operate
aluminium kick starter. New handlebar with cross bar.
